QUALITY in the City of PRIEVIDZA
After a personnel and organizational audit that resulted in a new organizational structure for City Hall, a priority of the city in the past year has been to put a quality management standard into place. The city had managed to achieve an important objective in the autumn of 2004, when an independent certifying company in Zvolen, QSCert, awarded the City of Prievidza an ISO 9001:2000 certificate, based on a consulting process that took place over several months. The certificate is an internationally acknowledged standard of quality management. Implementing a quality management system is a positive signal the City of Prievidza is sending, not just in regard to potential investors here and abroad, but above all in relation to its own residents, who have an understanding that the office's activities are efficient and dynamic to the maximum extent.
